muscle gains to levels you never thought possible.
That being said there is a growing problem in learning how to use
kettlebells properly.
You Tube videos. Yes I know I go on you tube myself from time to time.
You'll get no argument from me there is some really great videos on there.
But there are also some really bad one's done perhaps by well meaning
people.
As you may have seen for yourself there are all kinds of people doing all
sorts of "kettlebell training instuction videos" well I happened upon one
just a few days ago. The young lady was doing an instructional video of
how to do the kettlebell swing.
Well let me tell you this pretty young lady is a major back injury waiting
to happen. Her form for doing the swing was just soooo bad I don't really
have the words to explain it. Let's just say one of these days doing
swings the way she was she is going to bring that kettlebell done and will
not be getting up for quite awhile.
That's not all she claims to be a certified personnal trainer. Listen I
don't like to talk badly about anyone but that's how bad this was.
If you want to learn how to use kettlebells beware of where and from who
you get your training advice. There are plenty of highly qualified
trainers, books and videos that will show you how to use proper
kettlebell form.
The two I go to for anything and everything that has to do with kettlebell
training are Mike Mahler and Pavel Tsatsouline. Now there are other men
and women who are very good and really know their way around a kettlebell
but these are my two go to kettlebell guys.
Go to you tube have fun with it but when it comes to learning how to use a
kettlebell or any other exercise instruction beware.
